good dang pizza.
During the summer of ‘89, Geno D opened his pizza shop in Jersey. This was his logo. Flashforward to summer of 2020, Geno wanted a redesigned logo to open his new shop in Charlotte. I threw my hat in the ring, thrilled for the opportunity(even though they were already in talks with a big company in the area).
The client wanted to keep the chef in the logo. I used a couple of picture of Geno to create these two options. The personal yet minimal icon got the job.
